Sharp Decrease on Vietnam Rubber Exports in First Two Months

Fiscal Times reported on 10th Mar. that in the first two months, the rubber export was 1040,00 tons, dropped by 25.4% compared with last year, the amount of export was US$215 million, dropped by 43.3%, whereby, the exports to China reduced by 49.3%, the amount of export reduced 61.3%;  the exports to Malaysia reduced by 37.85%; the amount of exports reduced by 53.99%; as for India, the exports and amounts down by 23.64%, and 41.43%, respectively.
It was reported that in the first two months, rubber imported from Vietnam was 43,000 tons, dropped by 12.2%; the export volume was 92 million US dollars, down by 24.6%. The major importing resources were from Korea, Cambodia and Japan.
