Introduction
Rubber Sheet, also called Ribbed Smoked Sheet, is known as RSS. It is raw rubber sheet formed through latex collected from rubber trees through concreting, rolling and smoking. RSS used to be recognized as a major variety with the largest production. As a frequently-used raw material in rubber industry, RSS is widely used in various rubber products, including tires, rubber belts, hoses, rubber overshoes, rubber overshoes as well as industrial rubber products. The RSS appears to be amber and slightly transparent with smoked smell and relative density being 0.90~0.93. The underlying variety to be listed on BOCE-RUBBER VALLEY NATURAL RUBBER EXCHANGE, a bonded commodity, is the imported ribbed smoked sheet (RSS3) from Thailand.
Quality Standard
The quality of being delivered RSS3 to be listed on BOCE shall be in accordance with International Standards of Quality and Packing for Natural Rubber Grades regulated by IRQPC (the Green Book revised in 1979), with the manufacture date within 18 months (included) since the issuance of the original quality inspection certification.
