ITC Terminates the 337 Investigation on Southern China Tire & Rubber Co., Ltd

CharlesE.Bullock, administrative law judge of United States International Trade Commission (USITC) announced on 24th Feb., 2014, in No.35 of 337 (337-TA-894) investigation, that the proposal submitted by Toyo Tires and its US subsidiary, as a complaining party has been passed. Based on the disputes settlement agreed by Toyo Tires and Southern China Tires, as a forcibly responding party, USITC terminated the 337 investigation regarding these two corporations, but not for other forcibly responding parties.
The public version of the disputes settlement showed that Southern China Tires and Guangzhou Huanan Tires admitted that tires they exported to US are involved in the case, and promised that it would no longer produce those tires.
